- Civil service employees do NOT get retirement at full pay, or free health care. The original retirement system operates like Social Security. And COLA increase work just like Social Security COLAs. Some years there is no COLA.

- I wonder if their intention was to pair the photos in the top picture to make a "panoramic" type effect, showing the portion neighborhood to the left of the "Y" road as it was, and the portion to the right as it is now. Then the photo at the bottom shows the whole neighborhood as it is now.
